1907...

When in 1907 the famous KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens – department store of the west) opened its doors for the first time, a traditional company started its course as well – the factory Seidel Bros., founded by Otto Seidel and his son Walter. At the beginning Seidel supplied gummed papers only to printer’s and to the fine paper trade.

Later on, Seidel started specializing more and more on the manufacturing of gummed paper – as a result the main emphasis has been put on that product since then. These adhesive tapes based on enforced paper with starch- or hotmelt coating can be used in manifold ways and are willingly bought by the corrugated cardboard industry. Today, Seidel is an experienced and competent supplier in this field.
